Our Brekkie in the Park series offers community members the chance to connect with others in their local parks and helps promote healthy and active lifestyles. Each event provides a free breakfast and activities for all to enjoy.

Sunday 15 September    
Location: Joan Fejo Park, Rosebery (Duwun Rd) 
Activities:
Join us for the last Brekkie in the Park for 2024, come on down to a park that really has it all! Space for your furry friends, playgrounds that inspire adventure and in a great location. There will be horse petting thanks to Riding for the Disabled Top End, Tip Top Circus will be there to bring a little magic sparkle to your Sunday Morning. We will also be joined by NT Police from the Community Resilience Command to connect and chat with, Luva Cuppa to provide a delightful beverage and PaRBA will be putting on a BBQ breakfast for all.

Sunday 19 May - National Families Week Edition 
Extended time: 8am - 11am 
Location: Harvest Corner Garden, Gray (cnr of Essington Ave and Victoria Drv)
Activities: With the arrival of the dry season, we're thrilled to kick off Brekkie in the Park and celebrate National Families Week. It's also a perfect occasion to showcase the new management of Harvest Corner Community Garden. Palmerston Lions will be providing breakfast. There will be something for everyone, including crafts, a bucking bull ride, a native plant giveaway, and storytime with our library.

Sunday 23 June 
Location: Hobart Park, Johnston (Hobart Cres)
Activities: Join us for a hearty breakfast from the Palmerston Lions NT, whilst relaxing with a beverage from Luv A Cuppa.  The whole family can enjoy art experiences including leaf impression art, decorating pebble pets and plant pots. Have energy to burn? Why not jump on the Ninja Obstacle course! NT Police Community Resilience Liaison Officers will also be there for a chat. 

Sunday 18 August     
Location: Eric Asche Park- Farrar (NEW PARK LOCATION)
Activities: As we continue to enjoy this wonderful dry season, come on down to a park that really has it all! Space for your furry friends, playgrounds that inspire adventure and in a great location. There will be horse petting thanks to Riding for the Disabled Top End, our library will be hosting an animated story time and Tip Top Circus will be there to bring a little magic sparkle to your Sunday Morning. We will also be joined by NT Police from the Community Resilience Command to connect and chat with, Luva Cuppa to provide a delightful beverage and PaRBa will be putting on a BBQ breakfast for all.

Remember a hat, sunscreen, extra water and a picnic blanket.

Pets (must be kept on a lead and under effective control at all times), scooters, skateboards and bikes are welcome.
