Palmerston has a rapidly growing reputation as a place where events and activities are recognised as a valuable part of our vibrant and diverse community.

Council delivers a number of annual events and activities that enables people living, working or visiting our city to experience and participate in.

The City of Palmerston encourages residents to continue to do the following for the safety of themselves and those around them;

• Avoid touching your face and cough and sneeze into a tissue or into your elbow.
• Hand washing with soap and water for 20 seconds or use hand sanitiser.
