Crocodile Sighting

Crocodiles pose a risk to the safety of people and animals. Crocodiles need to be managed in such a way that residents and visitors to Palmerston, feel safe.

Crocodiles are protected wildlife as defined by the Territory Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act 2014 and as such Council is prohibited from catching or killing the animal.

If residents do sight any crocodiles in the Palmerston area they should report them to the Crocodile Management Team on (08) 8983 2475.
