Bev is a Darwin- based artist, teacher and art therapist. She studied at Loughborough college of Art and Design (UK). Her work is very eclectic and draws from a wide range of subject matter, media and styles. Bev loves colour, texture, silk and recycled items feature strongly in my work.
As an art therapist, Bev is fascinated with the concept that art is a form of non-verbal communication which facilitates recovery, self-expression, self-esteem, and emotional growth. She uses art to explore and respond to what is happening in her world.
This six week workshop is one of four creative workshops offered by City of Palmerston this May/June.
